| When I connect to the internet an on-screen
message tells me: "Connection completed successfully". I'm just wondering,
does this mean that the connection could somehow be completed unsuccessfully?
A simple Connection Successful or Connection Completed would suffice would
it not?
And while we're on the subject, shouldn't that express check out
sign read Ten Items or Fewer not Ten Items or Less?
I'm just wondering, would Polly Amory be a better name for a porn
star or a stripper?
I've been thinking about getting into real estate. I thought maybe
I'd do something for my fellow writers. Perhaps set up a series of apartments
in a section of Los Angeles just for them. Just wondering if I should call
it the Writer's Block?
Of course there are also the hard-working police and detectives
who do so much for us. I was just wondering what happens to them when they
retire. I thought maybe a retirement facility for them would be a good
investment. Maybe call the place Sherlock Homes?
On the TV game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire? contestants
usually have a friend or family member in the audience. They also have
five phone-a-friend lifelines, one of whom they can call if needed. Arenât
these contestants saying to their friends/family members in the audience,
I like you but youâre just too stupid to be one of my lifelines?
Just wondering....
